Sam's Fishing Trip

Some shots from Sam's fishing trip to Canada last week. Note there's no pictures of Sam with an actual fish. He says he was just being a responsible sportsman and threw everything back, but that seems like a convenient excuse...

Oliver spent the morning with his friend Annabel at the zoo. It was nearly impossible to get them both in the same picture--which is why they are all blurry.

Also last weekend...Gramma and I got to see John Williams (you know... Star Wars, Jaws, Harry Potter, Schindler's List, E.T., Superman, Indiana Jones, I could literally go on and on...) conduct the Cincinnati Pops. Sam actually got to meet him!

Big Bone Lick State Park

We went to Big Bone Lick State Park today. Apparently, this park is one of the first places in North America where dinosaur bones were found. It had a small museum that had some big bones (hence, the name). It also had a place to watch bison and a lot of trails.

In other news, here is a picture of the cat who has been staying with us for a couple months and will be staying through September. We are cat-sitting for someone Sam works with.
